Ensuring all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines are understood and strictly adhered to.
 

Conducting performance and operation reviews to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
 

Supervising staff by identifying and delegating responsibilities, providing directions to staff, and ensuring restaurant objectives are met and achieved.
 

Conducting training of staff and monitoring compliance in areas such as safety, sanitation, and food hygiene.
 

Monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing, and food presentation.
 

Ensuring proper coordination between the front and back offices to ensure proper service delivery.
 

Assisting in the menu implementation and improvement of menu items from feedback gathered from guests.
 

Identifying restaurant needs in kitchenware and equipment, placing orders, and liaising with vendors and suppliers.
 

Maintaining detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs of revenues.
 

Liaising with external contractors on Jumia, Glovo, and Uber Eats for takeaway services.
 

Coordinate daily operations including service, housekeeping, production, purchasing, and admin to ensure efficient operations.
 

Deliver excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction.
 

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
 

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
 

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.
 

Regularly review market prices and research new suppliers
 

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
 

Promote the Restaurant brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and other relevant channels.
 

Recommend ways to increase customer reach
 

Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
 

Organize and supervise shifts.
 

Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
 

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
 

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
 

Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
 

Any other duty as assigned to you from time to time
